What is Hospice?

Hospice care is the model of high-quality, patient-focused, compassionate care that helps terminally ill patients and their families live as fully as possible. We treat the patient, not the disease. Hospice empowers patients to live the remainder of their time in the way they wish. Our hospice care helps make meaningful moments possible.

A century of caring

Stillwater Hospice has served families in our region with respect and love since 1888. Today, our hospice, palliative and grief support programs provide care for more than 5,000 people in a 5,000-square mile region of northeast Indiana. The ripple effect of our care reaches another 15,000 people in 12 counties.

In everything we do, we Lead with Love.
