You Don’t Need to Grieve Alone

Grief is a normal response to the loss of a loved one. It comes in many forms—no two people experience grief in the same way. While grief can affect various aspects of our life, it’s important to know that we are not alone.

At Stillwater Hospice, we believe that interactive grief and loss education serves an integral part in honoring life. Furthermore, education plays an important role in wellness and in our ability to adapt to change.

Our goal is to provide a quality grief and loss education program to families and the community. All programs are provided at no charge, made possible through the generosity of supporters. Grief services are open to any adult who has suffered the loss of a loved one due to death—whether that person received services from Stillwater Hospice or not. Individual grief counseling sessions are available in-person or through telehealth. Complete the individual counseling form to get started.

Our Grief Center

The Peggy F. Murphy Community Grief Center is a resource for the greater Fort Wayne community as it provides space for individual grief counseling sessions, grief programming, and grief support group meetings for adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

Although Stillwater Hospice has provided bereavement support for many years in the community, the opening of the Community Grief Center in 2015 has allowed for an even greater number of individuals to benefit from the services and support provided.
